I believe 'The Harbinger' is one of the most important books written in our time. If you have not read it but want to know basically what it is about, there are many YouTube videos on it. The book goes through 9 harbingers of judgement that were prophesied for ancient Israel that came to pass before they were conquered by the Assyrians. The same 9 harbingers have already played out in the United States in an eerily similar fashion. One of the harbingers was destroying a sycamore tree and replacing it with a cedar tree at the initial site of destruction. This exact event happened after 9/11 in the United States. The book does a much better job of walking through this point than I am doing.
We named this tree, the 'Tree of Hope' which has been in a slow death since it was planted. Now, it is dead…uprooted and burned. In this article, Jonathan Cahn, walks through the prophetic significance of a cedar tree being destroyed and how it signals that a nation is facing impending judgement.
Can anyone deny this is a very real possibility? We have open borders and we know various serious communicable diseases are flowing in through our border. Gang members are also flooding across our border. Our government is funding terrorist organizations in the Middle East committing unspeakable acts to Christians and others. Will they care what happens to people here? We have a mass surveillance state in this nation, laws that establish the president as dictator if martial law is declared, laws that allow indefinite detention if suspected of being a terrorist, and official statements from DHS that Al Qaida is no longer a terrorist (not that they necessarily ever were. We've been funding and training them for decades and still are). No, people like me are the new terrorist threat according to DHS. Conservatives, Christians, patriots, people who believe in the constitution are some of the descriptors used to define a suspected terrorist. remember, you only need to be suspected of being a terrorist in order to be detained indefinitely without due process.
Are we approaching judgement in this nation? You tell me but I believe we are.
